ClanBase has just launched 2 new

Quake Live featured cups:

- Quake Live TDM 4on4 Cup
- Quake Live Duel Cup

Schedule

By request of

id Software, ClanBase is keeping all server settings at default, therefore all matches are to be played using default Quake Live settings. ClanBase is also getting new private servers all over the Europe for these competitions.

TF2 is full of bugs, it crashes a lot, and balancing/classes/maps are changed every 3-4 weeks - sounds like a beta to me!

Seriously though, what has QL being beta to do with game settings everyone can tell aren't suited for competitive play. It's nice to quickly find a weapon on pub TDM, but with a team and weapon dropping?

They probably think its good to have 66 clans signed up right now rather than no cup at all like last season ;)

But I agree, game isnt close to q3 yet by any competetive standard, but neither was the first Eurocup and that one was awesome-o.
