Damage was almost equal and the accuracy stats were close, but cypher still lost by 7 frags . You can tell on paper that it had some sort of impact on the outcome.
no, no you can't. although it probably it did you can't tell without watching.
it could have been neck and neck all the way (a frag or two lead) with linkin getting lucky in the final few minutes of the game racking up some spawn kills
when linkin took half of those RAs, he could have eaten a rail or rocket and more rendering them useless apart from denying them from cypher
Who's to say denying someone armors isn't a difference maker in this game? That's like saying punting 5 extra yards in football or clearing the puck from your defensive zone in hockey during a penalty kill isn't a difference maker.
Also, I doubt a comeback that late would be made at this level of play unless the timing of an unfortunate incident or major mistake was pretty precise. Too lazy to watch the demo to see if you're right, though, so check it out and let me know.
Link building a quick lead, and then just trying to defend it the rest of the game. Some nice airrockets by link (11:54)! Cypher not playing very good imo.
You should maybe stop living in the past. Who knows what their actual shape is, how would they perform on LAN now. It's not that difficult to get to the top but far more diffucult to stay there. Well yeah not my quote but it's nice :-)
I don't live in the past. I'm French and i know that l1nkin has not the level to beat a 'good' Cypher on LAN. Our 1on1 players were always shit on major Q3 LAN. Only winz and co1nco1n had the potential to win something.
U know what? I would go with Cypher on LAN too. But if Linkin hits such 60% rail in the LAN game too then Cypher will have a really hard time no matter the ping.
I don't think packet loss of 3 % needs to be mentioned in description, because people would think ITS ALL ABOUT PING STUFF, which is not true. Of course, ping difference did it influence, nevertheless l1nkje played really good. On T4 it was all about his aim, but he won and that's it.
I agree about 6 % pl, but cypher had mostly 3 %. If we take all time he played vs l1nk as 100 units of time, than he played 60-65 units with pl equal to 3 %, 10-15 with no pl and the rest with 6 % pl approximately. (kinda weird about units of time huh?)
imo lk improved his duel-gameplay pretty much and deserves some achievements. he also took dm6 from cypher on lan at eswc and that was about some time ago from now on.
i wouldn't go as far as to say that
although he has great aim, his movement, timing, and control are pretty strong as well
to me, he plays smarter than it looks like
but with ping, packet loss, and possibly underestimating linkin, i think those three might have done him in.
along with linkin's good play =]]]
I only watched t4, and from what I saw, I don't understand how anyone could be impressed by linkins play. I don't doubt for a second that cypher would "take him to school" if they both had close to 0ms. And no, I don't like either one of them.
Yes, linkins aim was not bad at all. His play in total wasn't as impressive though.. He got outsmarted numerous times by cypher, who was unable to finish linkin off due to lag (as I see it.) But then again, maybe linkin is better than cypher at the moment, that would be refreshing if anything.
another one scared runner like jeebo.
'Oh yeah! Let me do you in your ping babe! ... Omg, I should run from pinger-guy, cause he got YA!'
you always can tell it by pussy-hiding/running style.
Fuck, but i hate not hidden spoilers.
