instead of just doing it, you should have watched it first. theres nothing special nor interesting about this demo.

was a close fun game with good players. i don't think there are really any ql ctf demos on this site. don't think it's a big deal...petition it off if you wish.

Great way to sell QL ctf imho...no kidding, amazing-looking map and just a nice rhythmically-laid-out playfield.
++ aprox 9:00 mark when DaHanG somehow denies a score; just funny to see the 'omgs' with the ql voiceover "Holy Shit!"

Why do American's insist on playing 4v4? Even on a map as small as ironworks, 4v4 just looks so boring. I can't imagine how bad it is on the new map qzctf8 (Siberia).

Join the rest of the world and play CTF using the 5v5 format. Cheers.

I'd say it's the opposite.

4v4 depends more on individual skill and resourcefulness than 5v5. You need to make the most out of every attack, meaning you have stack up, try and steal the enemy armors etc. 5v5 is just one big zerg fest, a good attack in 5v5 is nothing but a coincidence of more than 1 person making it over mid. Also the spawn luck in 5v5 is terrible. Killing people on mid or in def is like shooting yourself in the foot, they're just going to spawn on you while you try to run the flag out.

Europe should be the one taking the hint and push for 4v4 instead of 5v5. QZCTF2 and QZCTF7 are way too small to play 5v5 on, QZCTF8 might work a bit better, but my guess is it's going to be one campfest on mid ala Q3WCP9.

You can't even tab in QL demos without them aborting? Advanced as hell.

Q3 is just the same, only MVD demos allow tabbing. But yeah it's fucking stupid.

Wat? My POV demos show the last scoreboard the player saw when I tab, and don't abort.

Oh sorry, maybe it's a CPMA thing. I've been watching only a lot of old demos lately and it's been pissing me off hugely :x

It's like watching demos through OSP mode. Use /+scores. It's uncomfortable, but still is a solution.

In fact, like in q3 all the keys will abord demos.

In order to get it work, you have to bind +scores on FXX keys.

only F1 to F12 are allowed

historically it was r_fastsky. Dunno if they fucked that command as well though.

vertexlight affects that tele only for some reason(and maybe one other I forget!)
