hehe.. the monitors used for CPM tournament was horrible, atleast compared to my CRT in the BYOC area.. :) but i knew it, but i hope the new 120hz will do the job :)
yeah, I hate lugging my crt around, so for local lans I usually take the sammy 22" lcd, but I'm used to gaming on the crt and the sammy is for porn and stuff

They're a typical TN monitor but with 120HZ, what more do you want to know? I think it's actually better than my CRT because it can do that refresh rate at 1440x1050.
I dual display with a 22" 2ms Samsung 226bw, and so far, it's the best LCD I've ever seen, which is why I bought one. I play Quake et al on the 19" NEC Multisync fe992, max resolution of 2048x1536 and max refresh rate at 800x600 of 160hz..
I'm trying to determine if it'd be worthwhile finally replacing this big heavy CRT, basically. That's what more I want to know :)
What do you mean more probable? There is a 100% probability I'm playing quake in 4:3, so on a 1680x1050 that becomes 1440x1050, resolution at which I play.
