not sure what problem you mean, but the only place i can think of to put cardboard or paper that would do anything is against the circuit board somehow.

The problem is that the scroll wheel is too lose, I remember seeing some mod that made it a bit tighter, so it wouldn't randomly scroll up or down on you.

i had that problem. i need to take that mouse apart again, so i'll take a look how i fixed it soon.

ok. it's the catch on the gear which breaks or bends. i glued it back into place at the base(you can probably see where on the photo). i think it was bent or partially broke, i just broke it off completely and glued it (i think).

presumably the fix you're talking about involves supporting the bent/broke catch somehow.

are you just uncomfortable with the wheel in general, or is it the fact that you can't bind things to the wheel properly, since it might randomly go off in the wrong ingame situation due to the wheel bug? in the latter case, i got a scripted fix for that.

the "downside" of it is that you have to move the wheel two notches to select the weapon, but it took me only 10 mins to get used to it.

Never got into the vstr stuff, having a hard time understanding.

Why do all the weapons have ";vstr lgglreset" after them?

Also, what is 'lglock' and 'gllock' ?

I just want Plasma bound to scroll down, and maybe a Quad or text bind bounded to mouse up.

vstr is for custom commands what exec is for configs. by adding it at the end of each bind, the script gets reset.
