Thats a lot dude, considering there is less then 5 players that could win wimbledon, less then 4 teams that could win the premier league, less then 2 teams that could win the primera division etc.

Well, if you're talking about winning there's even less. I was just being generous, there are ten teams that can reasonably compete together (even then there's a bigish skill gap between 1 and 10).

Ill be happy with a regular Eurocup. I dont see how 95% of those playing in this cup could afford/take time to go to a LAN that wasnt in their near vicinity.

oh ye, I totally forgot about all the old map. Haven't seen much QL tdm tbh, but I can see ppl still play that awful dm7, as well as all the other old maps. No new maps playable whatsoever?

Im not really sure, havent played it much, but I think current dm7 might at least be better than the old one. Possibly except for the fact that theoretically the up team doesnt have any reason to ever leave the quad part of the map.

As far as new maps goes, dm20 is horrible imo, but to be fair, Ive avoided it so much so I mightve missed something.

Personally I think that ca2/ca3 should be given a chance if its so important to have a 5 map map pool. I have no idea how they play in TDM but I cant imagine it would be worse than dm20.

dm11 and dm12 would be semi-decent too (if dm12 is the same layout as tmp it will be decent).

Its too bad id dont seem to see any potential in TDM, in spite of it being the most popular mode in EU for many years. 5 new decent/good TDM maps and CB using them for next season would be $$$.

Well I was talking about on a competetive level, since public TDM is pretty terrible. But even if they were to become more popular on a competetive level it would be no surprise seeing how little effort id has put so far on improving TDM.

What is terrible about public tdm? I play it a lot, mostly dm6 admittedly because it's one of the better tdm maps for pubs (i.e. not needing the sort of teamwork a map like dm14 requires).

Well, the biggest problem is probably the leavers, the few times Ive played public TDM people have been coming and going like crazy and playing 3v2 or 4v3 or even 4v2 is just really boring and even if the +1 guy suck its still a big advantage.

I would really like to have an active pickup scene though.

your going to have that in any team based online game and there isn't a lot you can do about it.

I dont think that the effect of +1 is as big in CA/CTF. Partly because those modes are or are almost round based and partly because the teams are larger in those modes. 6v5 is less uneven than 3v2.
