A4tech are ghetto.

I'd say not only the mouse is cheap, but the laser/sensor as well. Dunno...

btw i seek a new mouse but i dunno what choice.

no. mx518 has higher dpi that's all.

Well, the only difference between IME/WMO is shape. Apart from what Microsoft claims, both WMO and IME have the same sensor.

Comparing to mx518, IME/WMO have lower perfect control speed of the sensor (1 m/s in IME/WMO vs about 2 m/s in mx518, both at 125 hz). However, it is compensated by more accurate and precise sensor (according to results obtained by me using MouseTest tool).

mx518 can handle even higher speeds at @ 400/800dpi, sujoy only tested it @ 1600

SteelSeries doent make optic sensors or laser sensors. They use a cypress laser sensor, used in other brand of mice, like mionix and 50 other oem mice.
And its rubbish, at 50 ips.

use lowest dpi possible with that sens + in_mouse 2
though the mouse is not the best perfomance wise, mx518/ikari optical/old diamondback (all at 400dpi) are the leaders reaching extreme speeds over 4m/s without losing a single pixel
razer DA is also nicer than your a4tech but a bit worse than the mentioned mice

i use already the lowest dpi (its 600 on a4), after if ikari and mx are the same i will take the best ergonomics for my hand.

I have just tested a ikari optical and i want to say, ergonomic perfect, performance : perfect, BUT the wheel is very bad ! especially the clik wheel, one time on three , a clik give a double clik and i hate that because i use it in CS for switch last weapon used otherwise all its good.

I think, i will take a mx518 if i hear good feed back
