Would also help if you'd write down the stuff you've already tried, so we don't say "check your firewall" (don't even know if and what you have). So provide some more info on your setup, the router (make and model, also if you have more than 1 at home and so on) , firewall programs etc. Then maybe we can track down the problem and also help others :)

Everything tried thusfar is listed in the second link, things tried not just by me but alot of others.

I had some similar problem and solved it by changing the network card setting, in control panel hardware, duplex settings

on device manager, lan card, advanced settings, set duplex to full half or auto or whatever the options there, or google duplex lan settings :)

Also its not so much that it wont work for me but the lack of ql devs in the forum posts. There is abt 50-60 ppl with the same problem and still no answer from ql dev team what so ever. :/

Oh man, i wish i were u. Cuz for me qlive is worked fine and i wasted a lot of my time (i dont have very much of it) on that shit hoping that Id will improve it, cuz it was just beta, but now i see that they LIED. ID is like irresponsible father of a genious child.

P.S. I will delete this comment in a while, when i calm down about quakelive situation.
