If you have Quake Live on a ladder system you see yourself improve on the ladder which is a nice feature to see. You have statistics and achievements and thats a nice system so I think deathmatch will become more popular whenever they have a battle.net system just like in Warcraft and Starcraft.

The ladder was extremely popular in WC3, even for the very best players for many years. SC's ladder has always been a joke due to the rules, the lack of random match making and map choice control.

hes right about q3 being better than ql...atleast the way the netcode is in q3 you know when youve hit something and been hit by something.

and dont have any devs or players making retarded excuses or saying anythings fine when it isnt.

no-lag netcode or not, being behind a wall and still getting railed is stupid. having to aim behind someone while theyre moving when my brain screams "no dont do that" isnt something i should be asked to get used to either. just because lazy devs dont wanna do their job and fix things they dont consider to be problems doesnt mean nothings wrong.

best solution to this "no-lag" netcode: make the no-lag part of it client side instead of server side. if id has so much confidence in punkbuster this shouldnt be a problem....should it? ;-)

and ffs will people get together and get id to rank players aswell as servers already? some of the people ive been playing against seem to have actually been pros, but that doesnt make it any easier to deal with...theyre still playing against others that are nowhere near their skill level and ruining their game.

if this continues i will be one of the players that loses interest in ql, but i wont play q3 either because q3 has been overrun with cheaters for a long time and i wont deal with that cheater shit anymore..atleast in any id game.
