The last test version was running only at 80 fps for just about everybody on Mac so I am not sure if they fixed it ever.

u seem to know a bit about this mac stuff. is there any software that *completely* removes mouse-accel by now?

I hope for more fraglines to, it's very important for streaming to as you could see when wheat, toss and slash didn't see what happen they have to put up the console to see... and it helps team play, so players can be more aware of whats happening.

Well, another nice feature that is making a big comeback this tuesday are the leader boards (No idea why you didn't mention it). Those who were in the closed beta know what it's all about. For the ones who dunno -> leader boards are like global stats for all players where you can check things like, who has the most frags(acc, efficiency, medals, etc.) in the world / continent / country. And much moar. So yeh, pretty cool.

I doubt many people care about the leader boards unless they actually reveal the ELO-rank in them.

As no one is really interested in who can spam their afk friend the longest to get their accuracy up without getting caught. However, if it did reveal your ELO-rank it would at least for me be highly interesting.

We don't care about the noobs, noobs don't care about us, Who cares who is the "most accurate in the world" let's take a good example here: Rapha 29% accuracy over 1200 something duel games. useless stats will people will abuse, I miss q3 :/

since there are lots of people "stuck" with those operating systems gaming wise.. they'll play it nonetheless (instead of the usual shit open source FPS games like alien arena or something)

i'm using osx 10.4.11, safari crashes and firefox says i don't have the right system :(

u tryed FF first (download the pulgin and try to play) and it crashes. so u DELETE all files and than tryed out Safari? or u just overwrite the FFplugin with the safariplugin?

when i start firefox and go to quakelive.com it tells me right away that my system is not supported, just like it did before osx was officially supported. it won't even let me download anything.

when i open safari and go to quakelive.com it lets me download and install the plugin, but as soon as i do that and go back to quakelive.com it crashes.

ah, ok! i am not realy a mac-user so i cant realy help u on this systemspecific troubleshoting. all i know is that mac+safari works for the most of the pplz with some probs... (crashes after games of 80 fps caps) and dont read any fixes for thes kind of problems.

i get only about 80 fps in Quakelive - 10.5.8 and safari............

From what I've heard, it's stuck at around 80 fps for pretty much every mac user.

vsync off and set the r_displayrefresh?

ok will test it tonight, I expect the mouse input to be borked as is the case with all linux ports of quake made so far.
