The Episode 7 of the animated Quake Series "ARENAS" by Tritin Multimedia has been released today

AE7 - Scrimmage: Visor is pulled into a practice match against the Elite Xaero. Doom spectates.

About Arenas: The Episodes animated short series. Produced and animated by Joe Goss, Arena's is a re-creation of the Quake 3 Arena and Doom 3 worlds. By following the character's action from gladiators to their pre-arena stories, we bring to life the full evolution of the Quake III Arena universe and all of it's icons.

I don't know why this obsession at ESR with putting down everything. As if any of you was able to do a 10% of this. The story is crap, yes, but the direction is good and the animation great. Good work overall.

We "NEED" a Quake movie, similar to this but without the cheese, hand to hand combat and using the names and characteristics of famous Quake players :D
With real actors for the big screen! :) with the G.I. Joe style effects. It needs to be kept really close to the actual game though - i.e. timing armours, rocket jumps, rocket airs, rails, holding with shaft etc etc. with actual maps! :D it would be emense :)
I'd buy that for a dollar! ;)

I don't like it and xaero looks like he swapped heads with a baby but good effort and I laughed my cock off at the advert before it, which for me was some denzel movie except completely dubbed in German and it's just funny hearing a deep German voice come out of denzel's face.

models and armor look stupid and plastic.

xaero's animations were kind of cool tho.

there's a logical error tho. no one ever gets a kill coming up that jumppad when the enemy is waiting on the top.

also that black dude in the end looks like the end boss of ocarina of time on my gameboy

i think the story is quite in the line of quake concerning depth.

i really liked the sunshine/leaf mood on the vid, makes me wanna fight in there too ^^
