apparently Razer has some sort of 'policy' that they have to release something every quarter or something. which is just plain silly ofcourse.

you see, i can't really explain it. but lemme try.

the pad is flexible, but it's not cloth. they say it's hybrid which brings a surface like Xtrac Hybrid/QPad CT to mind, but it's not even close. it doesn't have a rubber base either.

it's made entirely of the same material, which feels like some sort of rubber. on the website it says it's some silicon. it's a bit like a single large piece, with 1 side rather 'treated' and grainy, kinda rough and hard too, which is the upper side, the surface. the other side is smoother, more shiny and sticky. and this is the lower side, the base.

i've looked all around the house since i am sure i can get some examples to explain it better, but i couldn't and i just can't think of anything right now.

when you look at it, it's just this large white mat with black name logo etc in a corner. the green razer design is not visible, and apparently it's some glow-in-the-dark or UV shit. if it is i'm sure it'll look cool since the pad itself will also 'light up' and look like some screen on your desk.

it is kinda small though. it should've been bigger to appeal to more gamers. you can't have one size for everyone, but when you do you should try and cover as many users as possible. and for itself i will say it's quite overpriced. sure it's unique and all and might also be one of the best in terms of performance, but i still say it's overpriced. it just doesn't seem like you're getting your money's worth. i will certainly try test it, since they're claiming so much and charging much too, but it might take a week or so.
