What if something like clanbase modded its ladder directly into cpma (with permission and appropriate support, of course). How would that affect and improve the cpma/q3 system?

I think it's fairly odd, that right from the beginning of internet play, there were ladders.... but excluding Blizzard's, how many cases of internalized or integrated ladders have since existed? It seems such a simple solution, to mod something like clanbase into a moddable game like Q3.

Q3 had mplayer built in, but that closed down pretty quickly so they removed support

Does anyone know the song that plays at CPMA main menu. Don't know if recent versions had it, but a long time ago there was a song that played at the menu, I think it was quake related but it was kick ass.

Any ideas?
