The player quality is probably the lowest its been since they started the king of the hill.
The 2v2 is going to be a blow out - why couldn't they get zyv+noctis some better competition instead... I assume its perhaps because 2gd plays with link and haz :)

We're not really aiming at having the best players, we just try to get new decent players each time for now.

noctis and zyv are maintly strong with dm6.

If I had compared these games, I would have been comparing ZTN and T6.

We were discussing who might be able to beat noctis + zyv and obviously jibo + cooller(?) have a good chance of doing so. Just like they were able to win a map against fox/tox at EC XI 2v2.

- Madix has played 3 times too (as well)
- Vizari has played only 2 maps ?? why ?

So why the last map is not vizary vs madix ? And even this last game shouldn't exist, as linkoo already won versus the 3 others opponent he should be declared at this stage the winner of the KOTH...

If not, the last game is done between the 2 best players and this time one of them choose his homemap (as the other player has already choose his homemap at the 1st game ? <=> But the frag difference shoul'd be taken in consideration... and linkoo is again the winner...)

quite logical... it's called king of the hill, and the one "standing on top of the hill" was madix, you can't be the king if you are not the last one who won, you can be the one with the most wins, but thats not the king of the hill. ;)

But then why let people play again when they have already lost ?

Vizari ( The King ) got knocked out in his first game, then Guard got knocked out by Maddix, who in turn got knocked out by Linkoo in the following match. Which should have resulted in Linkoo being the winner by that logic. ( Since there are no more competitors in the tournament to challenge Linkoo )

Even then Linkoo proceeded to beat both the original KOTH and the guy who knocked him out, should it not have ended there ? But like Becks suggest though that everybody must lose twice to be knocked out, but even then Linkoo still has to lose one more game to be considered out of the tournament.

The argument that Linkoo not being crowned the KOTH does hold ground, but if that is the case then by the same logic Maddix should not have been either. One more game should have been played as a grand final to decide the victor.

It seems to me that the rules are not clear enough in this tournament or the admins failed to uphold them.

So basically: if madix had beaten linkoo ealier instead of later, he would have the streak: guard, linkoo, vizari.

Both losing only to each other. Which means that if what you say is correct then Linkoo should have had the right to challenge Maddix again ?

The fourth game by Linkoo IMO really should not have been played at all. It should have been between maddix and vizaru so everybody played everybody and all is equal. I mean even if it is a KOTH tourney, ( Which I have to admit Im not sure what the rules are, but they seem to be play until there isnt time for more and the last one standing wins ? ) it would make more sense to have them play each other once or twice and then tally the wins vs losses. Then if players have the same amount they could just play an extra map to decide the winner.

Some players have intensified their game since QL. Personally i have started playing much, much more since QL because of the population of the game. I myself have felt a significant improvement in my game as well.
