If it was an issue in Vista, there's a chance it's still an issue in 7. Otherwise, 7 is EASILY an XP replacement. No accel issues that I have seen (Salmosa), but I can't comment on the USB overclock outside of drivers that already handle it. Unless your hardware just sucks, there's no reason to go 32bit for safety, as 64bit works just as well in 7. The only driver issue I have had so far was for a Playstation to USB converter, and it was a cheap $5 piece of crap.

just follow this guide if you don't need a mousedriver - just test it i'd suggest
i used it just fine with logitech setpoint 4.72 in testmode but now i updated to 4.80 and if i go into testmode my mouse just stops working - tried to go through everything with just keyboard, sign the file, go out of testmode, reboot but the mouse still doesn't work - had to reinstall setpoint (i'm using win-sensitivity 1 lower than default so there are no glitches and instead 2 faster in the logitech driver, 800dpi, no accel - i cba to try to find a working sensitivity without the driver... took me ages to get this one right back then..)


*EDIT* also since you're using a ms-mouse you're most likely to not need a driver and yes the sensitivity stays the same etc - its just a higher polling rate - nothing else changes (except the stutters if you have any when using in_mouse -1 alias raw-input are gone) oh and it "feels a little smoother" if that makes any sense

Hi, I have 32-bit Windows 7 and IE 3.0 with 500Hz and no accel, but in-game I can see some bugging with my mouse, it starts to skip quite often and its really fucked up when playing matches. I've played cod4 and cs 1.6. Its not about the mouse, same happened with my razed diamondback. Anyone had the same problems? Any solutions? Also when running ventrilo and easyanticheat, it increases even more.
