and I am saying that the chance there is some soft of gtv (as in needs a specific ql client, not a video program) in the next 3 years is above 50 percent.

Gosh dudes, iD have made it pretty clear they are not interested in something like GTV. Just check out the QuakeCon interviews with Stratton. They're looking for a way to incorporate advertising and they think streams are all cool and stuff because everyone sees the same thing.

well then lets hope at least id is interested in it.

I'm sure audio commentary isn't that hard, but embedded ads don't seem like an easy thing to do to me, tbh.

the ads are already all over the game..., i'd say thats easier then the audio stream...

Well yeah, but first of all, the server admins might want them anywhere, not just in the now possible ad spaces, also, there's no interface to get ads to that system and maybe to a single server, it could as well be kinda troublesome... But id should still do it :)
