One of the worse things is, it doesn't work on steelseries own mousepad. It just skips skips skips won't even track.

Haha, I don't know how do they have the balls to release something that's incompatible with their own products. Before releasing the Ikari and the SP, they sent me both and the mouse skipped like crazy only on that mousepad, while every other brand's mice worked perfectly fine on it.

Man fuck steelseries, they don't know what they are doing.

Razer mice with 3G or 3.5G optical sensor are fine though, they fucked up with older mice but those are mighty fine.

You'll laugh your ass off though when I use it on SteelSeries own mousepad.

It's a total joke. Maybe because its not a cloth pad. The kinzu works a little better on cloth.

The mousepad though is REALLY REALLY GOOD, soo smooth. I'd recommend it.

SteelSeries SX - Mouse pad <-- if u can afford :D and like a slick surface.

But ya ill make a video of using the kinzu on both cloth and the SX

Mostly the sensor, we know all the features. Just show us how it tracks on cloth and plastic/glass, if it skips, negative mouse accel, etc. (Make sure to do it on 800dpi too)

And just show if there's visible evidence of it from what we can see.

another problem is.. the sensor is pretty far back. its a problem for me. I like it up or in the middle. Im still testing the mouse. Using only the cloth pad atm.

Do you think the occasional bugging out is in results of a conflict with the other mice plugged in? You had the 3.0 plugged in at the same time, that's why I say that.

I don't think so. although that may have made it worse. Reason I don't think so is because I played quite a long time with it before having the IE plugged in. I plugged in the ie for the video so I can show the difference on the SX.

I only have the kinzu driver installed also no other mice are plugged in atm.

with just the kinzu/drivers it still doesnt pick up on the sx.

Feels like moving in fudge trying to drag it across this cloth pad :D

Also it becomes proper when I do the same for all mice. So I get an accurate showing of what each mouse produces.

Reaction time for sprinters isn't that slow :o

The ear has a faster reaction time. The thing is they have to move their WHOLE BODY for it to count. All we are doing is moving one little digit.

I did ur little dot one and got 143 avg 6* clicks.

the problem with this one is, it doesnt allow you to use your peripheral vision which is more light sensitive especially to motion. Which i think has more crossover into games. (no verifiable evidence to prove this though.)

the point wasnt about how fast times are but to show the there are differences in click speeds in mice, mostly noticeable in reaction time games but i think also in games.

Keep practising and you'll improve. It's an easy task to improve because the vast majority of the time is your brain processing and this single task can be done faster but you wont see an across the board improvement. Some of it is random variation with a time like stunt's being something that will crop up after enough tries.

I haven't done that test for ages and got averages 156 then 152 on my first two attempts, as I said it improves. Fastest was a 135ms with no false starts so 125ms is doable.

Made me LOL as if you read the thread you will see that i DO take negative feedback you need to read some of my previous posts, like teh one about the guy that does not like the Merc stealth, in response to Booboo i have openly invited everyone and anyone to come and test the product themselves..............??
I have not denied anything and have past a copy of the video review on to my colleagues in order for us to research the issue.

I have the feeling most of the problems are caused by the default mousefeet of the kinzu... i replaced them with hyperglides for microsoft mice and it seems to work fine for me... still have to measure for accel but i dont really notice it at this point.

well i still have problems with it on my sx. but it tracks fine on cloth.
Just doesnt seem to track well on sx. :o

some +accel too!

u dont see how at first on the SX pad how skippy it is ? the mouse has prediction and it jumps all over. Then I draw straight lines on the cloth pad... the first lines look like a freeaking ECG lol!

yeah I see that jagged effect but I guess we have a different definition of skipping. what I meant by skipping is when you move it really fast the mouse goes wank, either stops responding or moves to a random spot, like looking at the floor or the sky...

so basically the update doesn't fix the terrible accel/looking down problem when moving fast, just tracks a bit better when moving slow on SOME pads?
