ive got it even using prism. It is a little bit frustrating when you are aiming, got skipped and your crosshair is on the oposite direction :/. I think its pb causing this

try disabling firewalls, worked for me (some packets are not sent/received).

It has nothing to do with any problems related to your rig configuration - and I can tell so because I can play Warsow, QW (ezquake), Q2 (q2pro), Q3 (CNQ3+CPMA) on my PC and none of these games are lagging. Only QL sucks so much in this regard...

the longer my system is running the harder are the ingame laggs (for example getting ping 999).

When i join the game game freeze for 20 sek and then evrything works ok. i quit and again join server and same problem again ?

same thing happens with my laptop.. it freezes when i bring up the console also.. i just figured my processor on it is a pos or something

On laptops, make sure the energy saving options are disabled. We got reported lags on laptops for a while in wsw, until a guy found out it was the low consume mode.

This is definitely a problem with QL code responsible for rendering player view and player models.

I hope that this will be addressed in some of the updates, so far no tweaking exists which helps to overcome it.

if you are using FF, try to disable some <plugins> it helped me yesterday. But i didn´t play enough games with these settings yet to be 100% sure. But it was better.

And IE8 helped me too.

Do you by chance happen to have dual monitors?

I had issues with PB skipping every 30 seconds or so, the minute i disabled my 2nd monitor, the skipping stopped : | (this was in q3 though, but still - PB was the cause of the problem)
