I played it for about an hour, and got tired of it. I must admit I am not the sort of person who will put time into working out puzzle games, so it was a waste of my money. You might enjoy it if it is your preference.
I really like Broken Sword too, only problem I have is the bits where you can die, you should be able to just go right back to just before it without having to load a save, seems kinda random... although so far I've been smart enough to guess when bits like that are gonna come up (plus I seem to know a lot about this game even though I never played it the whole way through)
Are you serious? I seriously wouldn't even bother playing a game like that...
Just completed broken sword 1, I ended up using a walkthrough towards the end because I got kinda bored trekking about and scouring every room just for a small not at all obvious thing to pick up, still enjoyed the story of it though :).
well, it from 1992, there weren't that many games (and less rpgs) to choose from, actually it ws my first rpg. Especially since you had to rely on friends and floppies to get stuff :)
And what happened in that case was that you were warned not to desecrate a holy god by taking treasure or something. Well, if you did you could continue to explore the dungeon which went on for quite some time, but the entrance was locked so eventually your heroes starved to death :P
Nowadays games let you steal everything from everyone :(
