It seems to be an issue of file path length. As you say, renaming the file to something short fixes the problem.

yeah, I heard , because the hitbox is bigger and and lags behind and all the prediction and what not.

Luckily the damage a plasmagun doesm has nothing to do with the hitbox or netcode or anything. Plasmagun hits are determined very differently.

plasma isn't hitscan therefore is not affected by the new 'unlagged' netcode? projectile weapons miss out on the good stuff :d
