The ESR Community QL League is going to start at Wednesday the 25th Nov. The 63 players will compete in 6 divisions.
The following shows my best try to fairly match the players into the devisions by skill. For the next two days, i am going to tweak the list based on feedback i get in this post or at irc. the more opinions/suggestions i hear, the better divisions we get, the more fun everyone will have. The rules will be added tomorrow. Although the signups are closed, i will do a waiting list to compensate for dropouts.

I can only speak about people i've played against, but hkrep and me are around the same skill level, although I am not sure how good he is at 1v1 since we only play tdm together.

I didn't have much difficulty against Dronar even though I was a nervous wreck playing my first clanbase game, so he may have difficulty in his group.

Not saying that I should move up, but possibly they should move down, unless they want to stay in those groups. If I move up then Nukm will need to move up, considering he's beaten me in most of our practise games lately. :D

Just my thoughts, but I am happy where I am.

Definitely put torzelan in division 2, I remember playing him and I beated him pretty easily. Lethe and heartless however are very tough players. Deliasz should go division three. We will find out when they play anyway. We should let the bottom two players and top two players of a division one lower, battle it out for promotion and demotion.

on a second thought i'm not so sure anymore, im surprised that nukm is in division 3 .. i played against him, and he was pretty tough.. i played versus deliasz many times and he is pretty easy. But maybe its just nukm who should go to division 2 and division 3 isnt so good.

adjusted the divisions a bit, but here is what also needs to be fixed:
div 1,2,4,5 = 10 players
div 3 = 13 players
div 6 = 9 players

does anyone from div 3 feel like moving up or down?

Hehe, ok, here goes:

I havent really played for at least 3 months, but to be fair Ill probably try to learn the new map at least ;) though I wont have time to play between the "official" games.

My headphones are broken so I only have sound in one ear :)

I used to have a 125hz crt, now I have a 12 ms lcd :)

Ok the list was shorter than I thought, and now that Ive whined I would be very embarrased if I by some freak chance raped div 2, but if anyone from div 2 wants to go up let me go down :)

I don't think it's smart to move Torzelan to div2. As someone mentioned above, he would end up being top5 in div1 anyway :P

It will all be sorted once the competition gets going ;).. then you will have the bottom 2 and top 2 of each division compete for promotion or demotion for the "next season".

i was being serious, but i also think there'd be no way to do it better and i believe you did a good job.

apart from that i'm a really inconstistant as a player.

but some of those players i only know from cpm. and is funnyb really that good at vq3? i mean, i know he's a beast at every cpm gameplay, but i've never seen him play vq3.

I think it will be better to make it top/bottom 3 players for 1st season. It will speed up creating better divs and make things more interesting. Next seasons, that we will have better divs, we can return back to the 2 players advance/drop format.

or maybe do it like in bibs ctf league http://www.bibsql.com/?p=standings, clans upper than blue line goes div higher, clans upper than second black line will advance to playoffs and make some playoff at the end of the season Nukm it will be good idea for You too :)
