I bet they are using the same sensor as the mamba had. This would without question lead to great failure on razers part.
Story so far: Razer decided to cheap out on the sensor using one based on the phillips twin-eye (the sensor from the lachesis). Sensor have fantastic specifications on paper, but in real life its horrible and not really ment for use in mice, wich leads to the "jitterbug".
Razer denies all this, claiming the mouse is too precise and hands out teflonrings (the goggles do nothing).
Razer yet again notices how the customers fail to notice how horrible their sensor actually is. They release a firmware update wich tries to resolve the issue by using horrible accel tweaks. Forum fags rejoice!
Razer keeps releasing shitty gaming mice with horrible hardware and high profits.
feel free to correct me.
I bought the mamba, and I use it at work atm. It's barely accurate enough for normal office use.
Not sure big the G9x is compared to the MX518, but the 518 is great for big hands. Depends on how big of course, but I don't think there are much bigger mice than the 518. It's also a great mouse!
Why are you goin on about Lachesis? I was referring to the Mamba because it doesn't use the Philips Twin Eye, it uses the Avago 19012, likely the same as the Imperator.
I don't see any thread's on Blueprint's regarding the Mamba having skipping issues with the latest firmeware.
Dunno why someone put that on wikipedia but the Mamba (and Naga) has a Philips twin-eye sensor, that's fact, and so has the Imperator.
There is no Avago 19012 sensor.
Judging from the size and shape it seems just as much a response to G9x as to the Xai. Too bad they will probably still use the shitty phillips laser sensor that skips all over the place.
So CS player's don't need precise aim simply because they're not moving the mouse around as much as Quake. I find that hard to believe, especially when you're talking about top players. Also I know several people using Mamba's and they say it doesn't skip on them. Let's not jump to conclusions before the mouse has been thoroughly tested.
yes, and a skipping mouse makes you shot skip right back to the head of the opponent because it evens out the randomness of the game.
It's like puring cement between floor tiles. without it the floor tiles are uneven and move aroung. And cement alone can make an uneven floor if you're not careful. But togehteer you get a realy smooth experience.
see above. that is mostly based on what rapha said on the stream plus what can be seen on the fragster galleries (eg. cypher playing with a white da and not the new razer mouse).
Only reason I changed the post is because linking urls for a facebook gallery page doesn't work right when logged in. That's why you were seein'g a different picture that I linked which later on I checked and it was a totally different shot and just linked to the actual picture url instead. Also you should read #35 before before writing something like #36.
