Its not if you're just outright better than the opponent, but if you're of similar skill, it will be the deciding factor.

its also only a big deal if you're good to begin with, for example a good shafter will still outshaft you with higher ping.

I've also noticed that since the last update good old ping whining is back \o/

why is speed important in a formula 1 race?

The scoreboard ping is about 10ms lower not 25ms.

Apparently the maxpackets influences it.

Yes, at 125 maxpackets the difference seems to be about 10-15ms max.

Just got home and realized how amazing my connection in dorms is. I had 25 to Chi, 30 to NYC, 50 to Texas, 8 to Toronto. Was super stable.

Home connection? 60-80 Chi, 40-60 NYC, 80+ Texas, 40 Toronto. Plus there's always 10/30+- jitter.

Fuck this sucks.
