Something strange that happened on this map was that after picking up RA, my armor started lowering for no reason that I could tell when I was running on the ice- I wasn't being shot at, didn't take any falling damage, no splash damage . Didn't know if it would have been from being on the ice too long or what.

Maybe you had scout ? (Scout sets armor decay down to 50ap)

yeah come to think of it, I think I picked it up too. Thanks- didn't know scout did that.

He basically just don't care. Back in the Quake 3 days they played on 64 slot servers from jolt on the map kineterra and you just reminded him on this nostalgic moment. Now he's lying in his bed - fetus position - crying out loud for the wonderful past he's been reminded on :'(

The pace is ridiculously slow. It's not a serious map. It is kind of fun to skate along cliffs like it's Tribes though.

I figured it probably wasn't a serious map, I just wondered if they are going to issue more maps if they are going to include ones of similar size, or at least bigger than the regular maps, but smaller than Silent Night.

They should've modeled the Santa after robot Santa Claus from Futurama, imo. :)

Where was Santa at? The big tower in "mid-field"? I never made into that area before I had to leave for work.

It was one of the new model choices.

This is basically just mpterra2 xmas styled and ice instead of water. Overall though its extremely fun to play in pubs when theres > 26 people.

They better add hub, not some crazy 32 player maps.....

I'd rather see most any smaller, good map than just some crazy 32 player novelty map anyday.

it's shit but at the same i think it's fun if you don't play seriously.

the news doesnt say but this map is limited for idk 10 days or so.

It should be limited, becouse people wouldn't stop playing it, today you couldn't find
a ctf in ironworks, all people were playing the new map.

The map was supposed to be "for fun" but its not fun at all. RL, SG, CG, GL, plasma,
has no use in it.

When you get your quad, and dont have a scout, you have only like 10 secs left until
you get to the enemy base.

I played it like 3 times and got bored, then went for some tdm, but ALL servers were
empty.....sad.....

let me put it this way... this map is more for fragging that capturing, ye?

they really shouldn't have added a rail to that map ...

You can't play a CTF in a normal map becouse all ppl are playing the new map.

How would you kill the enemy flag carrier when he's running away then ? with MG ? :s

try to be faster than him with rocket jumps and stuff, otherwise, you don't! its about fun after all and not about serious ctf competition :P
