Get the medium quality version or watch the stream. HD resolution 50fps x264 requires high end single core pc or regular dual core pc.

being a former q2 player it got my attention a lot. GREAT movie (of course typing in caps lock makes it more true...). Best frags I´ve ever seen in a q2 movie, good cfg (in which almost all movies fail), etc.

suggestions:

*less length. 17 mins is excessive, especially without intermissions. You could have vol.2 by now if you were to split up this lol.

*upload this (vol.1 and future 2) to youtube, quakeunity, etc.

*1 play with ingame sounds, hud and hopefully from the respawn or even beginning of the game

*show other mods than tdm and 1v1, for example 1 play from ra2 (sometimes there's incredible stuff but I hope it won't show q2dm1 but a ra2 map, like ra2map9, ra2map24x, ra2map26 or at least catodm1 loll) and other mods. For example here in Chile (98-2005) we used to play ctf with l-firectf mod with offhand hook and airaccelerate on so it was cpmctf+offhandhook and it was awesome not only due to movement but for teamplay [runes, power shield, quad, etc.]), maybe 1 jump run, Action (aq2) I think it's too different to be shown.

*show more maps. This will be difficult since q2dm1 is by far the most played map on q2, a lot more than dm6 on q3-qlive

Managed to watch it with a newer version of BSplayer after all. What can I say: probably the best q2 movie I've ever seen. Frags were simply amazing & the music was great and very original. This should get way more attention!
I remember the times when I downloaded almost all dimmu's demos on their KTA site (still have them I think). Oh man, those were the days.

Wow dude, that was one of the best frag movies I have ever seen. Quality music, frags, intro, direction, everything. Its hilarious how much you have to lead your target with rox in q2. Those things were slow as hell.

wondeful movie, a lot of those moments are unbelievable, great non-invasive music, minimal editing 9/10

a couple of minor complaints:
- default Q2 textures are really bland for movies, you could've used the hires 32bit remakes
- a bit too long, could've cut some of the "more standard" frags or save them for the second movie as someone suggested
