In my experience (and I've tried alot), hard PTFE feet glide best on coarse plastic surfaces. I know plastic will wear out, but it glides better than metal or glass imo. It will last much longer than 3 months anyways.

For a constant/stable friction, Steelseries has made an excelent pad; 9HD. It's not that low friction as the S&S for instance, but these pads can also be a bit 'slippery', the 9HD is not. It has a slightly coarse surface, a fine texture.

Btw, I doubt its the feet that causes more friction in your current setup. The QCK is known to lose its smoothness.

On another note; in my experience, for cloth/hybrid pads PTFE tape glides better (less friction). But it wears out quickly, so try to get a hold on a whole roll of such tape (for a decent price).

But I'm quite sure a hard pad with PTFE feet is the way to go for your sense. Combine it with a slightly coarse surface and you'll be good.

The best combo that I can possibly recommend are Hyperglides for your feet and the Razer Exactmat for the mousepad. That mousepad's surface will last for freakin ever and the Hyperglides can't be beat. Also, with your sensitivity, you'll have plenty of breathing room.

Roccat Sense + QPAD Glidz best combination for me so far regarding durability. It's a cloth/hybrid mousepad like the QPAD CT (where I still had those flat QPAD mousefeet).

out of clothpads - puretrak talent is fine, one of the lowest friction clothpads and more durable than qck

I like to have my arm supported by a good surface, such as cloth (right now I actually use one QcK for my arm, and additionally a QcK+ to play on, both pads are directly next to each other). So my idea would be that I keep the QcK for my arm, and then have the 9HD next to it. The advantage is that both pads have the same height of 2mm. I could rotate the 9HD by 90° so that I have the straight edge (or by 180° or course). In general, a big plus of using 2 mousepads (one for your arm, one for the actually used area) is that you just use a small part of the 2nd mouse pad. You can then re-use the other half (rotate it by 180°) after you feel the half you use at the moment has worn out.

So, considering all comments here, the 9HD still makes the most sense. It has the same height as the QcK, and I also read some excellent reviews on other pages.

Now, since having teflon feet makes the most sense, I think I should replace the ones I have right now.

First question: when you guys talk about "everglides", do I assume correctly that you mean the product "MouseGlidez" from Everglide? I see that prices are 7-12€. Does the product contain just one set?

Second question: does it matter if I take the Everglide or Hyperglide Skates? The price doesn't seem to be a big difference...

Btw, on another side note: Is it possible that I am subject to high wear and tear because my room is very dusty? I'd imagine that dust particles are, well, not as strong as sand, but still hurting both the pad and mouse feet.

Dont know about the Everglide feet, but I do know the Hyperglides has rounded edges, while others dont. Only see hyperglides recommened.

Dont think dust has an effect on wear... but be carefull with hard pieces of dirt (like sand) on hard pads and feet. It can damage your pad and/or get in your mousefeet so it will scratch.
