Although Iceland have a much stronger team then last season, they haven't proven anything, so I think the Netherlands deserve their spot. I agree with Hungary in the 2nd pool though (and thus Italy in 3rd pool).

I'm probably completely out of date on European TDM but isn't Group D going to be a huge tossup?

Well you are completely out of date mate, but the worst stuff is, the the guys at levelup are too. I mean you guys should start only shoutcasting a Nations Cup when you have already learned the countries of Europe.

I would say seedings arent correct either, how can you seed higher NL- a team we have beaten in the last Nations Cup? In seed nr. 2 only UK might be better with its best lineup than Hungary.

Summa summarum: we are looking forward to prove how average we are. ;)

We did the groups based on seeds making sure that all;

#1 seeds are in different groups
#2 seeds are in different groups
#3 seeds are in different groups
#4 seeds are in different groups
#5 seeds are in different groups
#6 seeds are in different groups

Not forgetting that NL isn't actually seeded higher than you, they are in the SAME second tier of seeds. Do you beat any of the 1st seeds regularly? You being in the second tier of seeds seems quite accurate, although in my oppinion you might be able to get 4th. Although actually, looking at the groups, you do (as you accept) have the easiest group, so that would actually portray with you being better than .NL - so why are you whining?!

So i guess what i'm saying is, what has shoutcasting got to do with the countries? We could have just done it based on our own oppinions - and then yes perhaps the groups could have been a little different... but what fun is that?

Our job was to draw the seeds out of the hat, which we did fine. I'm sorry if i wasn't playing quake 3 arena 10 years ago and thus do not know everyone, i'm also sorry if i don't have fifteen monitors so i could have all of those details up regarding every player of every country on each of the 15 screens.

So please, if you are going to flame us... atleast make sure you have some justified reasoning behind what you are saying. I do this in my spare time for people like you, i get nothing out of it.

We thought it would cool to do it on live stream, with all the mistakes that come with it. If that's a problem for you, please feel free to do it yourself, or buy us all a world map and pin point the locations of every player from every nation on it, along with the history of each of those players using post-it notes detailing achievements, past teams, and hobbies when not gaming.

But thanks for the feedback anyway, you can be assured that my knowledge on TDM will be quite adequate when actually covering the games - which to be quite honest with you, is all that actually matters.

I am not whining and flaming at all. We were seeded in the 3rd seed. Its quite inaccurate, and yes I agree group D seems to be the easiest.

NL managed to beat team Poland B, so they've advanced from our group. They were seeded in the 2nd seed-higher than Hungary.

My knowledge in TDM has nothing to do with whether i know individual players or not. Are you trying to tell me that i need to have played Q3 TDM for 10 years to understand the game? Just because i don't know some player who hasn't shown himself to be good in the last 2 years, doesn't mean shit. I know the active players now, and i know who is currently good.

In the end, what i'm trying to say is; i know the bigger names and i know who is currently good, i also know how to play tdm... i'm sorry if i do not know every single player but if they play well in this NC, they will still get mentioned as such on stream for doing so.
