The
AGP has just announced the North America and Europe Duel Representatives. The Europe region of the AGP had a private vote among the members. The North America region had 5 Pro member volunteers to run for the position. With each branch needing 5 members, they were elected automatically, without need of a vote. This position will be held for all of 2010. For more details of what an AGP player representative is and does, read about it on the
AGP Legislation and Representation page.

AGPTour.com has also released some big changes and additions to the official site. This includes new updated
Rankings (layout, functionality, and regions),
AGPTOUR.TV, new Association information and sections, drop downs, and much more.
1. The AGP Rankings are now up to date and have a new look and functionality. Also added are the NEW regional rankings. If you are not listed in regional rankings or you do not have a profile link in international rankings, than you are not an AGP member. *Note: while we are rankings players internationally that are not AGP members, we have no way of knowing what region you are in for Regional Rankings.* In the future, the rankings will be updated at the beginning of every month unless a big point LAN event happens. Then they will be updated thereafter. Rankings for additional game modes will be announced with the launching of the other game modes and competitions. www.agprankings.com domain can now be used to get there fast.
2. AGPTOUR.TV has now been launched. It is a one stop page for all AGP related viewing. All AGP Sanctioned competitions will be linked in the schedule as well as other related video. We will also feature streaming video when we can right here as well. We will do our best to list all major time zones as well to keep time confusion to a minimum. This should speed up searching for game times.
3. The much needed Top Links bar has been added including drop downs for some old sections of the site and new ones listed below.
4. The Association section has been expanded to include more information about each section of the AGP. This includes Sanctioning, Mission, Legislation, and each game mode’s branch (which will be officially launched soon in addition to Duel).
5. Each game mode’s page (Duel for example) will include all regions that have sanctioned competitions, total competitions, and total members. Each region page of each game mode will contain the said regions elected representatives, total amount of competitions, and a list of all members for that region (Europe for example). This will take some time as we need information from our members to be gathered as well as launch our new regions.
*To AGP members: PLEASE sign in to your account and edit your profile to now say what COUNTRY and REGION you are playing from as well as which GAME MODES you will be playing in. Without this information, we cannot fill out these sections accurately.*
6. We now have a Competitions page with all international competitions in Quake Live that are included in the Rankings. We also now have regional competitions pages that include all AGP Sanctioned competitions in each region. In addition, we also now have official competition pages per competition, with additional information and Ranking point breakdowns.
7. AGP Classics is now starting to take shape. It is still in beta and as we start to launch entire tournaments in streaming video, this section will grow and change in format yet again. And yes, more games than this will be on here in time. If anyone would like to help in this project, please contact us via IRC or HERE.
8. We have drop downs links now of our social networks like twitter and facebook. Join us on each for fast updates on all AGP related news and competitions. We also just added an XFIRE community page for you XFIRE users, as listed on our XFIRE page. Go there for details and installation information.
The
AGP has just begun. Thanks to all of you and your support. In the next month we will be launching new regions, new AGP Sanctioned competitions, and new game mode branches of the AGP. Stay tuned!
PS: As a New year's gift, I've added Socrates POV for the AGP Classics Match of the Week posted earlier on ESR. Check it out!
