So? qrebo still beat cypher 2-1 and hardly got props for that, and he's a bit underrated, and he could've done alot better at DreamHack, (No disrespect at z4muz at all) but I think stermy+cypher are better, regardless that Z4muZ was really good and also beat DaHanG @ Group stage, but hey Reyn1r almost beat Z4muZ, after he won dm6 and dm13 was a really good map, maybe the reason why people didn't notice that was because the stats at fragster said that Reyn1r forfeited all his matches? :P like he wasn't even there.

I definitely give props to qrebo for defeating cypher and playing a close series with zamuz. There are few quake players who would be able to accomplish the task. It would be interesting to see what he could do on lan. However, what was the point of him playing a qualifier for a tourney he knew he wouldn't be able to attend? He wasted a spot that some other player could have used.

He still gets some prize money for his wins.
And it's totally not a "waste" to give the spot to Z4muZ. TBH, he should've taken it in the first place. He did everything he was expected to - defeated qrebo and VIZARI and the rest depended not on him, and it's not his fault that cypher played not serious vs qrebo.

Yes im not going, couldnt get sponsor with months notice, sux because i was in very tough group, (with none apperantly not playing seriously lol), it is a game so everything can happen if you have practiced. On flights within Europe I'd say you have a 50% chance that your is card isn't checked at all. If that does happen then most of the time only at the check-in and I wouldn't be sure they ever check the expiration date on those. Haven't seen a customs officer sitting at the passport control in years ...

If you do get caught you can still play dumb and say you didn't know.


Also, some years ago we were travelling with a child who did need a different type of id with a photo (they used to have id's without photos for kids). We were able to get a preliminary one at the airport within one hour.
Don't know about Belgium, but I'm pretty sure that works for adults here, too.

1. linkje was behaving like a massive faggot throughout, I understand he had connection issues, but this is an official game:

constant whine in ztn, using the "ok gg" tactic to screw up stermy's item times, and then quitting after 3 OT's when he had absolutely no clue about mega time and ate stermy spam like a newb.


2. own3d stream quality was unbelievably good, masta needs to fix his constantly flashing skype or whatever it was thing

Reading the comments between xou and stermy after the game it seems that as soon as link1e said gg, the game was forfieted. He might aswell quit then ffs.

I've had it happen to me before where the guy called gg early then won the game because i was fucking around thinking he was gonna quit/restart. Super lame tactic :(

He's more of a ctf & tdm player than a duel player. In fact he doesn't really like duel because of the item timings & some others reasons. Soz, he just plays it "for fun...", or maybe because there's no real other alternative, I mean, it's not like 4o4ctf/tdm is very active, I mean, just try to get a clanwar every day lol, it's just impossible. So I guess he's playing duel just to kill some time & to show his sponsor, you know, when you're pro, it's serious business.
AND maybe, he's also a french whin0rz.

There's still quite a lot of activity @ pub games anyway. I mean, the game is full of people who play FFA, CTF & CA @ pub servs. These people are generally new comers or "eternal newbies"... You can still play whenever you want, that's not a pb. For a quake game, let's say the game is fucking popular, and that's great. But yeah, people these days just play pubs game and/or pickups, and sometimes clanwars.
The only thing that hasn't changed much is duel.
