Is it just me or has the quality of TEAMdm risen with the addition of the weapon dropping? (despite the current maplist)

atleast in cpm its stupid.

not sure if it might work in ql tho, with the movement being slower

if you have a semi decent team its always
1. spawn
2. run to teammate

i find it a shame that you don't have to pay attention to what you are picking up because you can drop weapons anyway.
takes away a certain tactical element.

and since you can move very fast anyways, you basically get to teammates very fast aswell.

without weapon drop you see people running around without weapons alot longer, makes for a more tactical game imo.

tho i think with slower movement speed weapon drop might work, haven't played ql tdm yet

ya i guess that applies to vq3 (not sure about ql, hasn't mg damage been reduced?), but in cpm mg doesn't deal any damage anyways.

It deals the same as vq3 tdm (5) armours are stronger and players move faster thats all

then again a freshly spawned player gets raped much worse in cpm tdm (hardly anything to defend vs e.g. imba rockets) while in vq3 you can just mg-fest the shit out of anyone, you don't need weapons/protection through teammates as badly. can't really say much about ql tdm as I've only really played pub crap and cba to put in any real effort.

cpma/qw tdm is also way better then ql tdm.

Dropweapon sucks in qw/cpma tho. It's pretty decent in QL tho.
