i thought fox's style was play well until first loss then play shit. if hes already accepted losing then i doubt he's going to get far.

almost, so far his strategy was play well until semis, then start out the map well, begin losing and then rage. And keep being raged unteil the match is over instead of doing a comeback.

So, if he's all out of rage he might actually choose doing a comeback this time \o/

But seriously, he wouldn't be the first player who does better, becuase he has low expectations and therefore puts less pressure on himself. On the other hand, having rusty aim, certainly won't help :(

so far his strategy was, be relatively honest about your practise routine befor the event, get everyones hopes up and then at the event having a lot of pressure on your shoulders, because everyone expects you to deliver.

this time he went the underdog route and decided to be overmodest beforhand.

i bet he'll have quite the relaxing time :D

Don't worry, it's just part of the psycho game. Now everybody is confused and thinks they missed something essential.

With cooller, you need to be prepared for him coming to you from all angles. You can easily lose a game before it even started.

i don't think so. i mean, if you look at his game... it's clear that he doesn't have the monster rail aim that most players use to get by these days. in the OSP days, he used to control the map with his perfect timing... but now many players are doing it. his positional play is what helps him counter that today. there are so many instances where his opponent is stacked and he only has an LG and 100/0 but he wins the battle.

if other players started doing what he did, it would take quake to another level.
