I really liked the pregame and post game interviews. Kind of crude and all but still. It's important to see that these players have personalities.

That's why he scraped 3rd and moaned about everyone else being lucky. And even when it was his fault about the map restart, he still got an army of failed tards on ESR to slag off Av3k, which was especially poetic when the admin said what really happened.

He insisted on a restart and when it didn't go he whined.

Then he dis-respected every other player in the game by saying if he had their luck he would have been champion 10 years running.
He got a lucky win vs strenx on dm6, despite rubbishing him on camera a day before and forgetting that he survied with 6 health which was really lucky for him.

Not exactly impressive given strenx is a new kid on the block with a fraction of his experience. And cooller would have tried his best on that map because of what he said the day before and this map was a deal breaker, so you would be hard pushed to find a recent game of DM6 where he tried better.

Yet when the shoe is on the other foot he says nothing as if he just expects it.

I'm still a cooller fan boy and hes probably past his prime now, but i still think hes one of the best to watch/follow.

That is not true, if Cypher and Avek were not so lucky Cooller would have been world champion for 10 years.

That's how deluded he is, you can't blame him though, even when he messes up he has this sort of stupid fan club on the net that make excuses for him.

Worse still av3k anbd cypher both suck up to him.

Well, I think that for many years cooller did have a right to be called the best ever, as he won when competition was the strongested. HOWEVER, I think the competition is now back up to standard, (When players like spartie and z4muz don't make it through the group stages) and if he wants to retain the title of "best ever" he is going to need to win a major event (the finals maybe?)

I think he's doing well, he lost interest in Q4 and has only begun to get serious again recently (from Dubai) and he is starting to look really dangerous. The games this tournament were really close and if cooller was lucky he may actually have won.

The reason why people love cooller is because he seems human, when you watch his pov you can see every thought going through his head and it really looks like he works HARD for every frag. Avek and Cypher seem inhuman and seem to just do things automatically.

Whether that is good or not is completely subjective, however something I can say for sure, is that the only old school player that has a realistic shot of winning the finals is cooller. And I hope for a Rapha - Cooller final, because... that will be the most epic.

there haven't been many tournaments where there were so fwe walkovers like in this one.

i'd even go as far as to say that in this tournament, there were practically no walkovers, and players winning/losing all over the place.

it was really close and cypher didn't win by a landslide or anything like that. even though he performed exceptionally throughout the entire tournament, he lost to k1llsen, and the finals were 3:2, and no game had a score higher than 10 for one player.

but also, even when he messes up in game and falls into lava on dm13 3 times and fails rocketjumps he still makes for a close game.
