It's news to those who are wasting their time trying to organise games with nvc now that he isn't captain. Might save people some time if they weren't already aware.

It's not meant to be considered as news, that's why;

a) it's a forum thread that i could simply link in the #quakequickcup irc channel where captains are present, and
b) the thread title has made it painfully obvious that it should only relate specifically toward other nation cup captains

... and as vor has pointed out below, it's specifically so that other captains do not continue to contact me regarding the uk team and practice matches, which was documented in the thread. It's actually rather annoying the amount of times it has happened because I actually told the admins i wanted to be removed last week. However through miss communication and no fault of anybody elses, in addition to a couple of admins still requesting i arrange the Svo game, i was only removed today, which i have no problem with by the way. The original point of making this post is that since last week and now, several players have messaged me about games that i have had to refer on to disrepute.

Replies such as those from [4k^doz3r] telling me that this is specifically for attention seeking alone, and that if he sees me at lan he is going to break my bones are unnecessary and quite frankly childish. If that was the case i'd break out into several emotional reasons as to why i left and then request it be majored, but I don't honestly care since that's not the case.

I wanted to also make it obvious that despite dropping from the team, i'm still commited to bringing coverage through level up tv, which was the secondary reasoning behind making it into a forum thread because i don't want captains to stop messaging me with games to stream just because i've made a few comments here and there.

No issue in TDM i did it the last 3 cups and il take over on these ones now that nvc is unable to do them. We will have another vote again for the next season of cups to give somebody else the chance to captain.
