IMHO, they should remove mention of 100 euro whatsoever, it sounds totally weird, like "The prize consists of bubble gum for the first place as well as Ferrari Enzo for the top8 players"

its 100 euro every week, that makes it 400 every month, if you play both - G Data and ZOTAC it may get up to 800 a month just for playing online quakelive tournaments... never heard of another weekly tournament series with that prize-money.
its just not one big event, but many many many smaller ones..

But what are your moneys compared to AGP ranking points? If there were no AGP ranking points for top8, no one would participate in those cups even if it was 1000 euros each week. And I mean it totally seriously, with not even a glimpse of sarcasm whatsoever.

I doubt some is keeping track of those points, anyway.

We can only _guess_ you could have wanted to say that the money is more important than the ranking points. But this is merely an interpretation based on common knowledge; there's no indication in your text that this could be the meaning you wanted it to have.

Or, I mean that the AGP tournaments (24 of them happened in 09) have been naive dreams. I think reading it that way makes the most sense as firstly, I comment about the youtube videos and rankings, secondly, I call the tournaments pathetic lies, and while the G-Data cups could be seen as modest, and thus, naive dreams compared to the golden times of q3, they're paying out and thus there's no lies to them, at all.

edit: dont get me wrong, burrned played good, but cypher with shit aim (shit for him) isnt very fun to watch :) so its decent games for me..
