But since you want to talk about current events: I think the current CB NC season is doing pretty well imo.

Match reports at CB actually contain text instead of just screenshots, there is a constant on-site coverage+updates and therefore easier to find past news items bundled on the same cup page instead of having to look for it all over on community sites.

I've seen complaints about CB NC schedule that it will take too long to complete, and now QQC matches are delayed every match week. The fifth match week was suppose to start on Monday and yet there hasn't been any matches played yet and more than half of forth match week matches haven't been played yet as well. I know that might not be fair to QQC admins since schedule also largely depends on teams playing the cup, i'm just stating some current facts that you like so much.


The only better thing would be the amount of teams playing in the cup, but that is probably because QQC began earlier.


I'm not working with CB QL crew and cups. All the credit for the amazing start of the season goes to PerpetualWar and Astral. I just hope they don't burn out like visser did with CA cup when he tried to do everything himself.

And about the reputation of the past.. i think old CB Q3 TDM Nations Cups were pretty good back in the time of Godsmurf and HellSpawn.

You haven't came up with anything valid yet, you just copy/paste other haters rants about how everything sucks but without the actual explanation as to why.

CoD players have an issue with some other stuff, which hopefully might get fixed as well in the future.

1. It's easier to navigate than other league sites.
2. The preferred method of contact is by CB PM, no one can be around all the time.
3. GGL handles money not CB, and GGL has been bought by another company which according to the cnn has invested a lot of money. (not really QL related)

1. It seems somewhat easier because they only support one game at the time. If they supported more games then the complexity of navigation would increase.

2. I prefer IRC as well, but the problem with that is once you go offline you can't receive messages back. And you can't expect a response at all time. From what i've seen PerpetualWar is online a lot, but if he doesn't answers "hi are you there?" messages, i can completely understand that.. it's annoying.

3. This is the only thing that has anything to do with a reputation of an organization from the list you posted here. But you have to understand that CB admins worked very hard running cups for which prize money was promised for. The prize purse was suppose to be redistributed by GGL employees since they're the ones that work with sponsors, handle costs, revenue and so on. I know CB and GGL are suppose to be considered the same company, but in reality, the operations itself are very much separated. GGL employees handle money and hosting, while CB volunteers run cups, ladders and work with gaming communities.

1. What does that have to do with navigation? People were whining because we couldn't do more than two featured cups at the same time and they couldn't take "we don't have enough admins" as an answer.
2. It's kind of waste of time to answer "yes" every time someone asks if you're there or if you could answer one question, if you had to do this for few years i'm sure you would understand. (and perhaps even picked up better English skills)

CB was the most prestigious league at one point with lan finals etc, I'd go as far as to say that CB has had the best tdm cups ever actually

The Quake community at CB is pretty bad. I don't play Quake for a while anymore, but always checked out the Clanbase cuppages for match reports and the replies. For most of the Quake cups at Clanbase there are almost no match reports at all and for the match reports that are available there's almost no reply anymore. Only the replies from bots who advertise about cheats.... very sad :(

admins seem to be doing a good job with these cups, keep it up!

Guys, we are all trying at CB to make it better overall experience for u to play and spectate, and for us to have decent cup with least dropouts.

We do appreciate constructive criticism, but un-constructive comments are really not helpful, especially flaming without reason.

Concerning CB NC, we are already trying to do proper coverage and to run it at a most professional level we are able to, so only a little support is all that is needed. ;)

Agreed that it was bad timing with second TDM NC.
BUT.. CTF is really interesting and by looking at the tournament page I can see good reports that CB used to have.
