tbh online there is less of a difference, I'm pretty sure that burned / reaper can win vs either of the other players (in the top half) on a good day. And qrebo I haven't seen playing for a while, but he should also be able to suprise every now and then I guess.

Strenx is simply the best. On LAN not everyone feels comfortable, so you cant really see who is the best quaker there. Online is where everyone's real skill is visible. And clearly strenx is pretty much the current top dog.

i wouldnt agree since online u got ping which sometimes matters alot + most of the players (cypher i.e.) simply dont care about such an online tournaments cos everyone knows that is lan what counts

boksers dont fight from home do they? or rally drivers? do they drive from their warm houses? no they sit in the car at the track which is miles from their homes

+when playing online u can allways be accused of cheating or whatever and that is why LAN is the proper place to compete

Why would you play bad on purpose when you can get 100 €? I don't get why strenx doesn't play every event anyway. 800 € for an 18yo each month just for Zotac+GData. The only argument against online is unfair pings and maybe the cheater issue (But you can be quite sure those top players don't cheat).

100€ or not, i am sure that a player like cooller doesnt care about zotac online matches as much as he cares about a major-lan match. this + unfair conditions in terms of connection etc make it clear why only lan events show the realy strenght of a player

At LAN the most important skill is to adjust to shit conditions mostly, though. So neither internet (shit connections) or LANs give the perfect view on who's the best. Most LANs don't care about perfect circumstances for the players, because esports aint that big yet.

if he will concentrate only on game and forget stuff like someone watching him or thinking how he looks atm etc then he will rule

conditions may not be perfect but they are fair in a sense that they are equal. sure you have to adjust but you have some time for that. and i am not speaking about a stage final where you have to wait 5h on stage without playing and then cant hear shit because its too loud. contitions arent always bad. though you are right, you cant call it perfect.

wtf i never said that. he sure doesnt care more about zotac than he cares about a lan, but he cares more than other players and he is in constant training atm with a fine connection. now some players prepare for a lan but might not be in shape when they play online and a lot of palyers can only play with a crappy connection and so in the end they just dont really care that much.

you dont really seem to give what i wrote much thought :( you are ignoring part of what i write and just focus on a specific aspect.

well its not a black and white thing and there is no perfect way to decide who is better. adjusting to lan conditions is a "skill" and not everyone can bring his a-game on lan, but someone like cypher could never bring his a-game in an internet match either. in the end you have to decide what the better way to determine who is "better" is in an online match or is in a lan match. i would favor lan because it gives every player the same conditions fair and the level of preparation and dedication to the match is stronger on lan.
i am sure some players dont show their full potential at a lan but they have the chance to if they learn how to deal with different circumstances. the internet game on the other hand will always have a bigger net delay, and unequal conditions for the players and there is nothing you can do about it.

and this is a general consideration and not just about strenx, i think he is a great player and will do just fine. sure it is just an assumption that he cares more than others, but it is likely to be true imho.
