Buy a G1. It's the same shape but 800 dpi and it doesn't have all that negative accel. I never regret going away from the mx300. It's really popular in Asia so I bet you can buy one from a webshop somewhere.

if you search the forums, i already made a thread about it... all i could find is some site where you can buy it with some keyboard. shiped from china. i posted the link in that thread. it was about 50EUR with the slowest shipment(1month) but you can get it in 3 days if you want to spend a 100 bucks

Hey, I did have a question about the 300. Do you need to set the polling rate to 1000 in order to attain the 3.91m/s perfect control speed? Or is it like the case with the wmo where 250 would be enough to achieve it's max perfect control speed?

You need 500Hz to get a perfect control speed of 4m/s, with 250Hz it would be 2m/s.

You can get logitech g1 on ebay for 25$ from korea.

mx300 is mostly preferred by low-sensers for its high perfect control speed. if you do movements faster than 1.7m/s with the g1 they are not correctly translated into cursor movement making the mouse a worse choice for low sens
