LowLandLions takes the victory in the European BiBS CTF League against YoYoTech, this is not the verdict we really would have wanted but we got no choice since YYT is unable to play unfortunately.

Furthermore the Player of the Season award is granted to Grrr's Mephistio for her excellent efforts making her clan play every single one of their matches except one, against Hurtz who unfortunately couldn't field a team at the time.

Ehh, no offense to Mephistio, but she got an award because Grrr played every match, except one? In that case there are more clans who should have been awarded. Not that it matters at all, just weird to pick one randomly and give them an award.

kapa, she didn't get it just because Grrr played all their matches but one, she got it because she was the one player that put the biggest effort by far into making it happen every week on time.

Congratulations to LLL and good luck to all teams playing in season three ;>.

Sorry for not being able to play the final, but we (yoyotech) retired a few months ago due to the lack of competition and willingness of teams to face us. Besides this we also had to deal with a mass of default wins and reschedules which forced us to be available 4 to 5 days a week, with only playing 2 days a week due to all those reschedules and defaults.

I hope some good CTF / TDM leagues will come and develop, because at the current stage it is really demotivating to deal with issues that I stated above for us as a team. See Clanbase OpenCup, ESL EMS and this recent BiBs as examples.

May we once return! lolol.

First of all, PotS season 1 went to a male, s2 went to a female = 50/50, so either you can't count or you hate women ;)

Secondly, if a male player would have put in a better effort in getting his team's matches played, the award would have been given to HIM.

I can assure you all this has nothing to do with if PotS happens to be a male or a female, the award is given to the one person we feel has done something special during the season, in this case it happened to be a she instead of a he.

If you all feel ashamed you got beat by a girl, then it's your problem ;)

I don't care about male vs female sexism debates, and it's really nice that some girl play quake.

But I just want to react about your sentence... because mathematically speaking, when 99% of the competitors are male, you can't say that's fair to have 50/50 male/female for the PotS (and in fact if you have criteria to vote for the PotS, the sex shouldn't be taken in consideration)

At this rhythm next season it will be another male, but after it will be again the same girl (to have 50/50) as she is nearly the only female to play... o_O
