I got a few of these lying around but I think its time I get rid of them and centralise everything to one good one.

I need something with some sort of automatic encryption because I'm always losing them on a tempoary bais and I figure its only a matter of time before I lose it for good.

Fingerprint seems interesting, but as long as its really quick and secure to authenticate and it encrypts automatically it should be ok.

I like the idea of the U3 sandisks. I.E. essentially taking apps with you.

i guess if some of them come as waterproof aswell then even better.

Size wise I need at least 8 gig, 16 would be great, 32 gig if its not priced too stupidly.

Anyone got anything a bit different in this department?

Automatic encryption/decryption (after handshake ofc) is my main concern and I don't want to use 3rd party apps like Truecrypt on existing drives. I just want something that takes care of all the donkey work.

Would also consider the faster esata drives if it has a dual socket to support USB too.
