I used to have trouble keeping time during my game, trying to concentrate on fighting aswell as figure out if the tiny number on my screen is an 8 a 0 or hell even a 3.. id find myself showing up early or late or even not atall. I was stuck with no way out, no hope.

You mean that is useless to get 125fps if your screen can't reach 125hz ?

ur fps doesnt really matter, as long as it feels and looks smooth. movement is no longer linked to fps if thats what u were wondering.

edit: i remember someone saying that fps and maxpackets are linked though, but im not sure on that. anyone that can clear this up? :>

That's where some alpha/transparency might come in handy. Otherwise sure a great aid helping to shift focus a wee bit.

Correct! My LCD and quake live are in sync. Both forced to 75.
However, we are here to discuss my timer. FOR3CAS7 has been trailing it and he says, 'it really kicks arse. The timer is slightly enlarged, which helps me with my map timings'.

I might tweek it to try and include a crosshair.
