Me too, really good 1v1 league will be. We will have to play 1 or 2 games per week max and there is also good map list. It's not like on CB.

Have to add something:

Rocket arena 2 - the game is dead for long time, there was no RA2 servers for long time. Now there are few RA servers up in Sweden / Germany. There is very low number of participants signed so far. The news are posted on Q2scene for couple of days already, but no interest there.

If you are scared about RA2 community being strong? I can tell you that RA2 "community" has stayed on the same level as it was in 2000 sine the game mode is dead since then.

However, we are planning to re-burn RA2 scene a bit and see some RA2 action after a long time. Hopefully RA2 will have at least 10 teams signed at first season.

Is it open for US players as well? I mean... cmon this is epicness. I'm German. I'll play with 100 ping:/

This sounds awesome! Just one question before I sign up :). As it is a league I'm assuming that your going to make divisions. How do you pick which player plays in which division?

I think community at irc will be helpful. Admins will ask at irc about players / teams to make even divisions

heheh yeah exactly m8, personally I've played roughly 10 duels in the past 10yrs but think it's time I came back a little bit to the whole picking up weapons as I've gotten so lazy i sometimes can't be arsed to even try to win :)

All just too much good fun personally, winning or losing however getting sick of the losing now, time to get 1337 again i think ;) (yes i did just say that) :D

Hope we manage to get a good little RA2 scene going would absolutely love to play some old 5v5 RA2, the memories are simply the best, is funny to think how popular it was and yet so many people just not interested anymore.

As CAREEM said we currently have a few RA2 servers running, 1 in Germany, 1 in Sweden, and 1 in Italy, and currently working on a couple of other region servers.

Anyway if you're interested hop into #HoQLeagues on IRC, even if you don't have any1 to partner up with I'm sure we can help you find somebody. Same goes for the Quake LIVE CA 2v2/3v3.

About ca 2vs2 or 3vs3 I suggest thinking about dm10 (I think it's dm10).
I've played it three times last 2 weeks and it's actually quite a cool CA map. high/low positioning... long sniping hallways, close/tight corridors and also large open areas. All in a not so big map.
Also the 2 very small lava holes are great fun :D

It's some stupid spam irc script going around how is that trying to take over channel?
It's obviously on my home irc as my work one doesn't do it, if u were stupid enough (or in my case I'll say curious :) to do as the spam said copy and paste the command you will find yourself spamming the same :)

/me is going to kill m1ster the guy who originally spammed me it :)

You should know this seeing as infact m1ster was in #esl.quakelive spamming it which is how I ended up with it, however thanks for trying to bad name me :)

If any1 knows how to get rid of the problem please let me know as it happened over a week ago and I went to use my home irc again last night and the same thing happened so it's obviously stuck in there, will just uninstall and scan then reinstall :/

Note to self, don't try any stupid encrypted codes u get spammed again! :D
