Turning off P2P in the settings seems to make the download faster for most people, as it will download directly from Blizzard.

i got my nickname of the only unit i ever built in sc and i plan on doing the same in sc2!

For me starcraft was and remains the only game that i trully love. It all started when i skipped school one day and went to an internet cafee. I ran this program called starcraft and i was simply blown to pieces. I was batting aliens with Jim Raynor, getting attifacts and exploring planets... it was trully epic! Each mission took me about 2 hours to complete, i was always marveled at the new units i could build :)).
Then the world of battle.net opened new horizons to me. I can even remember the first game i played on the battle.net when i faced a korean who was spamming TT and i was asking what what? Needless to say i was building zealots and got rushed with vultures with higher speed and mines + micro. I was all... oooowwwwww... you can do that??? Awsome! :) After many, many hours of play, 10 hours minimum like Boxer adviced, i got my fare share of victories over some koreans :).
When Blizard anounced starcraft 2 after so many years of waiting i got really excited and havent lost that excitement even not. I have set up an account with my blizard games, but alas, i haven't received my beta key.
So... this is my plea to you, to give me the spare invite you have. Hope you enjoy it. :)
