imho (like Guard has been saying for some time) burnedd's dm13 style, for example, is the next progression (evolution?) in ql duel play -- one step further: if not for the age exclusion, many of the ql lans this year (Dubai, IEM, etc) would probably still result in similar top two/three fashion, but with dramatically different quarterfinal/playoff outcomes.
wont call it the next step, because there have been people in the past too where they took one map to the next level but no one else after him could play like that
examples: elpajuo in dm6, guy was lightyears ahead of fellow players in some aspects
yea probably too early to make wild retropredictions like "if burnedd had been old enough, he could have altered some of the high-profile lans this year"...but there's something there -- as his instincts sharpen, his risk-taking becomes more selective and he begins to understand his own strengths and his opponent's weaknesses better -- well Guard's crystal ball gets clearer.
