There has always been some kind of love-hate relation between the Quake Community and ClanBase. At fist when I became the follow up of Slajer as Quake Live Gamesup at ClanBase I tried to focus more on the cups.

So far we hosted 3 cup seasons:
- Featured duel cup
- OpenCup season
- Nationscup season

and as most of the people here like to highlight, especially the duel cups have had their fair share of problems and difficulties. I have been trying hard to improve the cups and ladders, but I would like to make this topic to have a direct contact with the Quake community to let them have their own input on this matter.

In particular I would like to improve the duel cups the most, as these have the most signups but also the highest amount of problems. Other gametypes have had their problems as well, but I don't think these are so hard to find out and solve.

If you could post some constructive comments on this topic on how to improve the general quality of the ClanBase ladders and cups, please do and I'll be sure to take note of them. I do not intent to make a flame topic, so if you don't have anything constructive to say I'd like it if you kept it to yourself
