if it would be only gg... they sometimes arent able to use say_team and asking somethin during the match, this is a huge shit sir. If they a privelege to join this server they should shut the fuck ab and enjoy high quality stream and dont chat ffs

Cypher lost timing (classically) on mega at t9 and let strenx take it for free. That was a verdict for him

This move is nothing unusual on T7 especially when on low hp as the spawns are rather predictable? At least it payed off for Cypher. Players like fox often used /kill bind on dm6 to get ra spawn/back in control.

But in this situation on t7, there were two possibilities. Cypher was waiting @RA, so either strenx kills him, takes RA, and hope that Cypher doesn't spawn MH (but he's most likely going to spawn MH), either strenx goes MH, and then Cypher takes RA.

So basically, Cypher would have had RA or MH anyway. The worst thing that could happen to him was being fragged on top of that, which is what happened. So it wasn't a "smarter move" at all.

Strenx could have taken RA without fragging cypher, to get MH, but that's a really bad idea on t7 where there are lots of health and armour to stack again, unlike dm6. It's important to frag on t7.

but I don't agree on that one, because as far as I can remember, cypher was challenging for the ra with low hp (which was about to spawn in 2 or 3 seconds) forcing strenx to frag him, if he wanted to get the ra safely, offering cypher to spawn at mh and eventually brake control.

Yeah that scenario was very very unlikely. But I think Cypher thought strenx was going MH so he didn't really expect to be fragged when going at RA.

Appreciate the streams on all of these events as they are great for following the action, but have found myself having to choose between having ingame sounds which i like, or muting to get rid of the shoutcasters :|

No offence its nice that people take the time to cast, but seems to just be random chat between a group of people that seemingly dont understand the strategic side of the game.

edit:: holy shit i was far too polite when i posted this, the casters are going from bad to completely terrible. Everytime spartie loses a fight in this game it was 'well done by spartie', 'spartie came out on top there (after missing mega jump)'.....but the king is 'spartie died on purpose to get the mega spawn'.

stream is great, casters re nothing special but id rather watch quake listening to some random conversation than watch it in silence + a female vioce is allways a nice bonus

I think the casting is fine. I was pleasantly suprised by Soe, she seems to be quite updated about the scene in general. Not everyone can be 2gd. Anyways, gj to the casters, and I hope you'll continue :)

they should stream the shoutcast on a seperate channel so its possible to disable it.. oh well

unfortunately it was a bit of a gamble on our behalf to have 4 casters which seems like for the most didn't pay off. What started off a few weeks ago as a one person cast, became two, and then three and then four. And now that lesson is learned as next week I should not be staying up till 4-5am it is wrecking my studies anyway :!

Jubei: Despite what you think about any of our 'strategic knowledge' I can say from all being players the strategic knowledge wasn't lacking, i think that organization of who speaks to say what was. How can you have 4 people calling the action at once, of course this was our mistake and I apologise, and in fact towards the end of the cast I started to speak less and less because I know myself (from over a year of casting experience) it gets too much, and like the saying goes 'too many cooks in the kitchen spoils the pot' etc. Regarding my /strategic knowledge, i cannot speak for the other casters but I think it is safe for me to say this was not the problem just that we had too many people in on the cast was!

Our speaking order was non existent but we improvised as best we could, and as for the off topic chatting this did happened alot but sometimes the score lines were very obvious early game and it is hard for even the best casters to stay on topic throughout the whole 3 hours of streaming.

also there was an alternative stream with no casters which somebody did advertise on our stream

Kirua: Regarding the spartie stuff i dunno like i said i did not speak much later on and started to alt tab a bit, but killing yourself on t7 is sometimes strategy but yes of course can just be dumb luck i do recall when that was spoken about but i forget the incident itself
