How long have u been painting for?

I mostly used to draw, started when I was very young, only started painting at High School. I pretty much stopped all art since then, but got a large intuos wacom pad about a month ago, so have been playing around with it.

Still trying to figure out how to use different features and stuff. Working on another portrait which is probably going to take much longer.

Gogh never cut off his ear, its just the belief of those without the intelligence to know nothing beyond what they are told by mainstream society.

What's worse is they then spread innacurate knowledge based on things they don't know about on the internet, and then millions of equally stupid people do the same and that's how you end up with a dumb world.

and no a speculative paper by some art historians will not be sufficient.

In any casem even if you could proove that von Gogh didn't do it himself, it is completely irrelevant to that list. As the myth itself is what makes him more known, besides obviously the quality of his paintings.


But I think you just mixed up your memories, because the other part of the myth, that happened while he was high on absinthe has never been confirmed.

QI happens to be entertainment first so things can twisted here and there and passed off as something they're quite not. Entertaining nonetheless. Besides, a lot of the facts are prefixed with words like 'apparently' and what have you.

An author believes it was lost in a sword fight and the evidence is very recent - it's based on a original police report. It hasn't been around for years (2009) therefore it isn't a fact that has it been warped and twisted by mainstream. The new facts haven't been accepted and people still dispute it. I wouldn't have the slightest clue where the bearer of such information was coming from but alas it's Jamerio.

Yeah still going at it, haven't finished second portrait yet... actually working on two at the same time.

You might want to want to work on the border between the rigth eye (viewer's perspective) and the hair. It looks a little too black and "strong" to me.

Yeah I'm going to be softening up a lot of the details, still a long time to go till it's done.
