I am confused about which these two mice are.

I presume that this is the Windows mouse optical 1.1a (400 dpi, No correction or prediction) that many of the top quake players today are using.

Could I just get a clarification on what this mouse is.

I'd also like to know how, if at all, it differs performance or aesthetic wise from the former mouse.
