Yeah. Since tl changed to 10 mins the max concentration span of the average ql player seems to have shortened significantly.

But believe it or not, there's still people who can digest even a "a one-hour long int. with cooller" in one run. And for the likes of you, I strongly recommend the pause button.

I think it may be a little early to say that. I'm on his bandwagon and all, but its still too soon to tell. If he continues his dominance, then I'll be more inclined to agree with it. Others have been around far longer and done more to be called greatest champ ever (of course the "greatest" of anything is subject to peoples' opinion).

I think there is a little more to what would make rapha the "greatest" besides just winning tournaments. For example, how about the fact that more people watched his QL final than the cs finals of IEM championships? No one has ever brought that kind of attention to quake. Granted, cooller helped too.

He's already a champion. But yes, how long they can hold on to their "Champion" title is a part of how you measure a champion, imo.

Granted more people may have watched the QL final than CS, I don't know, I wasn't there and I don't know the figures. I can't agree with you on "no one has ever brought that kind of attention to Quake" because the scene is on the decline- there just aren't as many ppl playing Quake as there used to be (it seems that Q3 times was the highest-point of quake). Many past champs brought more attention to quake than just more people watching a final at one event. Cooller is like the Godfather of Quake- he's done more for the scene than Rapha, even if he's not champion right now. I don't know many of the names and I can't back it up with titles, winnings, stats, etc., but even Fatal1ty brought more attention to Quake than Rapha has "SO FAR". I'm not saying he's not able to, but just so far he hasn't.

Rapha's achievements are great so far, I hope to see him winning for a long time. =)

I'd agree with rapha on the fact that streams are very important to promote the game but at the same time I wouldnt mind a GTV for us people who have a capped internet with 9gb/week of bandwitdh :(
