60, 100, 110, 120 in native for me. When I tried 640*480 75hz it scaled with monitor scaling and not videocard's, so dark colors had annoying red trail/ghosting but the picture itself looked sharper and brighter than when it scales through gpu on 100hz/120hz.

There's one big fkn problem with the VX2265wm, that is the monitor built-in scaler doesn't work on 120hz, meaning that you can't narrow your image to 4:3 on 120hz in ANY resolution, it will always stretch it.

The only solution is to use whatever utilities the graphics card driver provides to achieve this. I don't know how things are on the ATI front but it was a nightmare for me to get any nVidia driver beyond 177.x to work with my GeForce 210. In the end I gave up and bought an older card so I could use the 174.x series which had a working scaler.

If the driver is willing to cooperate it's as easy as adding a custom refresh mode, 120hz will work on any resolution. If it doesn't, you get flashing pixels, blank screens etc.

i can use any res at any refresh rate.
