Well, Quake Live is kinda more of the same (maps etc). SC2 is relatively new and many people don't have access to actually playing it. That plus strategies etc can vary wildly.

Says something that Day9's stream was averaging 4000 viewers whilst the Quake one would be lucky to get a 10th of that sometimes :P

We're stuck with holysh1t that shows us own3d tv. QL viewership can go up if the streams don't keep freezing. The more options we have, the better.

True, ESL probably easily hit 4000 mark on the big Quake shows, but then their streams are shit.

The lvlup and own3d streams are pretty stable and decent quality. It's just a case of there aint much more options as ya said :P

Currently there is nothing big in QL happening, IEM season has finished, Dreamhack/ESWC are months ahead, so QL audience is less active and more inclined to explore other games like SC2 where zotacs are actually important events for now.
